Description:Current research interest: -Create a expanded version of the fission yeast cell cycle model. -Put together different models to create a generic cell cycle model. -Model the meiotic -mitotic switch of fission yeast cells. -Investigate microtubule dynamics. -Modeling the morphogenesis of fission yeast. -Modeling fission yeast septation. -The mammalian cell cycle modell. We launched a website "Generic Cell Cycle Model" on bifurcation analysis of cell cycle models (http://mpf.biol.vt.edu/research/generic_model/main/pp/).
